To qualify for CDS, you would have to be deemed eligible by Missouri’s Division of Health and Senior Services (DHSS). This service is administered by the Missouri Division of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) and is available to eligible adults over the age of 18. One of the prerequisites of CDS is that you have to be currently on MO HealthNet, which is Missouri’s Medicaid program. If you’re not presently enrolled in MO Healthnet, you can call them at 855-835-3505.
The goal of this program is to help participants live independently and choose someone they trust to provide them with care. As a participant in the CDS program, you will also be required to hire, train, and direct your caregiver. Participants partner with a CDS provider, such as CarePartners Home Care, for payroll, compliance and administrative support. Give us a call today to see how you can hire your loved one to facilitate the care you need.
